Took my ochem midterm last week. Never thought I’d be happy to get a 67 on a test before. Of course, I wish I did better, but when the median score is a 54, I think I’ll be okay with a 67 for now. Up next, EEMB midterm. How is it week 5 already??!! I have to sign up for next quarters classes?! Speaking of next quarter, it is going to be wayyyyy better than this quarter. No more 8 hours of ochem lab. If everything goes as planned Ill get out of class at 11 MWF. Granted I have 8ams MWF too, but that’s old news for bio majors. Why do they have to schedule the one bio class I’m taking at 8 am?? Anyways, since my schedule is going to be soo awesome, I am really hoping to FINALLY get into a lab. I just emailed Professor Mary Ann Jordan who has done research on microtubules with Prof. Feinstein and Prof. Wilson, and has been recognized for her work with anti-tumor drugs, so hopefully she has room in her lab, because it would be really cool to be involved in research that is working to help cancer patients. Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer, so doing research on such a widespread problem would be so rewarding. Cross your fingers. 🙂
